Things I thought I know

Life is full of misconceptions, as Jim Rome will say. One of it is that posting on a forum is considered the same as posting a blog. Apparently it isn't. You have to have your own page where you can spew your thoughts out to the whole world to read so they can know exactly what is going on in your head. Like the world cares right? Another misconception. The world doesn't care. You are on your own and you have to make the best of what life has to offer.

Anyway, I am happy to start a blog of my own. I am not sure what the contents of it will be (should I make it a public diary?) but for sure, the contents have to be captivating.

Another misconception: You can make money on the internet. FALSE. Apart from ebay, there has not been anyother site that I have been able to make money on. The last one I tried was called ApplepatchDiet. They promised I will make a fortune, all from buying a website then directing traffic to it. Simply put, I got scammed. Watching the Today show this morning, there was a story on this same subject of making an income on the internet. The one that caught my attention is called PayPerPost. It claims you will get paid for each review you give. Sounds like a good deal. It doesn't cost anything so I have decided to give it a try. How will it turn out? I have no clue, but eh, isn't that what the purpose of this blog is all about?
